Looking northeast from the island in the North River Patroon’s Report: As there are only 8 men currently in the town, it was decided that all should have a say in the day to day governance, with executive power residing with Ishaad Baerents. While we were able to get all the buildings necessary to survive the winter built, there are three buildings are essential to entice new settlers to join the town: A Town Hall, Market, and Port. We will clear the land and build these as quickly as possible. Once they are complete, the town will need to decide what to produce for export. Available options are Mead from honey, Ale from pears, Candles from beeswax and possibly Glassware or Bricks, both of which are desirable building commodities. We expect the arrival of many new babies this year.
