Patroon’s Report: We’ve been told to expect our first settlers this year. There is no word on their names, number or place of origin, but they will be coming. To that end, a hospital building will be built on the western outskirts of town. We didn’t receive any traders last year. We are still waiting, some impatiently, for our first legitimate trader to arrive. There is no news on the international front. Locally, tensions remain high with the natives. If things don’t calm down soon, active conflict is inevitable. The men of the town have decided to see what happens with new settlers before embarking on a serious discussion of establishing a formal government for the town.
