Mayor’s Report:
There was another accident in the quarry, with another
recent immigrant killed by a falling rock. There are some who want to
discontinue digging there, but it is our only reliable source of local stone
right now.
We had a great harvest last year, and were able to
trade for a great deal of food. We are back to almost a full year worth of
food in storage and looking to add more in the coming year.
Laver Foure won re-election this year, running
uncontested. This year, my seat and the council seat of Evert Aerts are up
for election.
