Expansion to the north and west continues

Patroon’s Report:
The war with England concluded last year, but it never directly impacted us here. The port is under construction just south of the town hall and should be ready by the time the harvest comes in. The woodcutter, tailor and chandler are all busy creating a stockpile of exportable goods.

As we continue to grow in useable land size, we are also adding to our population. Two babies arrived before the end of last year, with another due any day now.

As the population has been mostly united in purpose so far, the need for a formal governing body outside of our formal meetings has been non-existent. We have talked, though, of formalizing some council seats once we start receiving new settlers.
