Growth continues in Wiltwyck

Patroon’s Report: All three council seats were up for election, but the same three men retained them, running unopposed. The length of terms has been reversed, with Kings Jacobs winning the three year seat, Andro Postmael retaining the four year seat and Evelt Aerts procuring the five year seat. Expansion and upgrades is the course we’ve decided upon. Wooden houses will be upgraded to more sturdy stone ones. We’ll also be adding a new brewery to make ale from left over pears. This will give us another export good. Last year saw a bountiful harvest that produced food for storage, but then a trade allowed us to nearly quadruple the bonus and put nearly two years’ worth of food into reserve. Francis Lovelace has been installed as the governor of the colony. He has given his assurance to all the English and non-English peoples that we have ‘freedom of conscience’ to worship as we please.
