Development continues on Baerents Island.

Mayor’s Report:
We’ve now acquired more seeds as development in the town continues, but there was yet another accident in the quarry, this one claiming the life of recent arrival Kingstonewall Schmitt. We’ve been told to expect another group of settlers this year, English families travelling up from New York.

We’ve been led to believe that the recent downturn in health in the population is due to the lack of fruits available for consumption. We grow pears but most of them go to ale production. We are going to plan an additional pear orchard and a peach orchard.

We were able to add to the reserve of tools, but have nowhere near enough.

Laver Foure held off a challenge from my son, Katherford, who ran for his council seat. No one ran against me for Mayor, so I will remain for the next 5 years.
