Mayor’s Report:
A third war between the English and Dutch has come to an end, and once again, we are a growing town in the English colony of New York. Our new English governor is Edmund Andros, who has guaranteed our continued rights as they existed before the most recent war.

To the chagrin of several people in the town, English flags have been restored at town hall and where they were, before.

Last year saw a severe shortfall in how much food we produced compared to how much was consumed. If we hadn’t been fortunate enough to trade for cucumbers, tomatoes and strawberries, we would have depleted a great portion of our reserve.

Another wave of births is expected this year, as the first group of children have all married and are expanding their families.

While the stockpile of available fuel is low, there is much that could be used if taken out of the trading posts.

I was re-elected as no one ran opposed to me. Laver Foure wants a seat on the council, but was convinced not to run last year against Kings Jacobs. It seems there is another plan afoot. Andro Postmael’s council seat is up for election this year.
